Melanie McCarthy RN, CCRN, PHRN, and SCRN Director of Nursing Operations for
Extended Pharmacy, LLC
Melanie has been a nurse for over 15 years with
most of her experience in critical care, prehospital care, and the emergency
room. However, in the last five years, she has had the privilege of meeting
Eric Spires, one of the owners of Extended Pharmacy, LLC. He hired her as a
nurse consultant, and she has since grown with the company. Melanie thrives in
fast-paced environments, but she also greatly enjoys process improvement and
supporting team members' growth. She works hard to understand the root cause of
a problem and never fears asking "why?". She finds herself enjoying
mentoring and leading small or large groups to improve the quality of care
for all patients in every setting.
