| Carrie Wennerdahl Carrie Wennerdahl began her role as CHART Coordinator in September 2023. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health with a focus on Aging Studies from Eastern Illinois University (2022) and a Master’s degree in Health Promotion from the same institution (2023). With over 30 years of professional experience in social services, direct health care, and health care coordination, Carrie has dedicated her career to supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities. She also serves as the Coordinator for Collaborations in the Advancement of Research on Disabilities (CARD) and as Research Coordinator for the Center on Health, Aging, and Disability (CHAD). Carrie’s research and professional interests include the benefits of exercise in aging, the development of Age-Friendly communities, aging with disabilities, and promoting aging-in-place strategies. . |
